XR Simulation in 2026
Finnish VR device manufacturer Varjo released their State of XR Industry Report for 2026. It shows key highlights of the current industry situation. XR is indeed becoming a standard feature in many corporate workflows, as the key findings show in adoption maturity and utilization. This was very fascinating read.
Unity and Unreal are mentioned as major platforms and corporate customers prefer higher-end devices such as Varjo comparing to customer oriented gear.
Realistic simulation training especially is a market segment not to sneeze at, and something we are keen to work on.
Our realistic environments we have created this year are all compatible with VR and XR tech as they are highly optimized.
In my company too we are seeing surge of requests to provide XR / VR content, as we did this year, especially for MetaQuest 3, a platform we are getting very comfortable at.
It indeed seems to be great time to invest into XR / VR content especially when simulations are involved, the tools and quality of the experiences are matured and reliable.
