True Fashion, Digital

I had a special chance to meet wonderful designer of company called SOLIT! today in Tokyo. Their company is focused on making inclusive design and sustainability, two core pillars that are in my heart whenever I think of any kind of business.

There has been a lot of digital fashion going around lately in our works as well, with volumetric video being one of the realms we have been involved in. AI has helped some of these processes, transforming summer scenes to winter for example.

But I find AI having unique challenges when thinking extraordinary fashion such as this. I believe inclusive fashion needs deep human warmth and understanding in a way that no AI can reach.

AI is a tool put together from mainstream content, afterall, often with questionable ethics.

I think fashion is a kind of spiritual transformation - elegance belongs to all people.

Our own project has also dealt with cancer, rebirth and fashion. I would like to continue this exercise of portraying all humans in elegant way, using digital media.
